1. Using Scriber
Scriber turns recordings and scanned pages into text, and meetings into minutes. You must be allowed to record the conversations you upload, including getting consent from participants where the law requires it.
2. Your content
You own your recordings, transcripts and minutes. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you.
3. Accuracy
Transcripts and minutes are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Review important content before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't upload illegal content, try to access other people's data, or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Availability
We work to keep Scriber running and your data backed up, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees.
6. Payments, minutes and refunds
- Minutes are prepaid. Nothing renews by itself.
- Minutes you buy are valid for 12 months from the day your payment is approved. Minutes you have not used by then expire.
- Payments are not refunded.
- If a job fails (a recording that could not be read, or a scan or translation that failed), the minutes it used are returned to your account automatically.
- The free trial is your first 10 minutes and 2 scanned pages, once.
